The Alternative Pathways Center’s (APC) mission is to give alternative learners an opportunity to obtain a Biddeford High School diploma through individualized, project-based coursework combined with pre-vocational training, work experience, and social and emotional learning.

At APC, students are provided an opportunity to learn and grow in a small, supportive, non-traditional environment that promotes learning, respect for self and others, relationship building, and the ultimate goal of developing positive members of our community. We strive to focus on our students’ unique strengths to develop and reinforce natural community supports, master critical life skills, and equip them with the tools necessary for success, satisfaction, and successful citizenship.
